“Lord, I Want The

For far too long, you have been believing for things, having what we call, “faith!”  Yet, you keep
coming up short, having no results, and a handful of excuses.

For far too long, you have been praying for things to happen and manifest in your life……

For far too long, you have been perhaps, fasting, and yet, nothing turns out right.  Your efforts just
really seem effortless!

I am not here to tell you that you are all wrong….But I can and will tell you that there is a way that
seemeth right unto a man (Proverbs 14:12; 16:25)  You must understand that we can ask for a thing(s),
yet we ask amiss (James 4:2-3... Ye have not, because ye ask not.  Ye ask, and receive not, because ye
ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts)...And that's the thing, our requests, most of the
times, tend to suit and benefit our fleshly desires and not our spirit!

Until it is released into your spirit, declare, “I need a faith that works the miraculous.  I need a prayer
life that yields results.  I need a fast that manifests more peace and soundness in God!”  When you truly
believe what you have just declared it shall be established (see Job 22:28).

Reflection point:  Do I meet His conditions to receive of Him?  We know that Romans 12:1-2 tells us
to present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service…
And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may
prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God. Do you do justly, love mercy, and
walk humbly with God?  These are the criteria in which Micah 6:8 points out as a bit of what God
requires of us. For starters, if you meet those requirements, you should be able to pray the prayer of
faith and have results.  Why?  For Mark 11:24 tells us that whatsoever we desire, when we pray,
believe that we receive, and we shall have whatsoever we have petitioned His throne for.  But we got to
truly believe in our heart and shall not doubt (Mark 11:22-24;Matthew 21:21-22 John 14:13-14; 15:7;
16:23)…. And this is the confidence we have in Him ( 1John 5:14-15).

Do you realize we sometimes pray
without fasting. In other instances, we fast without praying!  We
sometimes even pray to God and had not even developed a relationship with Him by first, accepting His
Son as our personal Lord and Savior.  In every one of these cases, something very essential is missing!
Why do I say this?  For there are things we could do and there are things we could include in our daily
routine. Then of course, there are many things we
need not to include and SHOULD at all times,

So why haven’t you gotten your manifestation or results?

-Maybe it’s because you don’t know that you’re anointed.
-Maybe it’s because you did not know that the anointing abides in you (1John 2:27) and it is not
something you have to work at....  And it is this anointing which destroys the yokes and lifts the
-Maybe it’s because you want to live anyway you choose and still have God in your corner
(i.e. lend your members servant as instruments of unrighteousness and still call on the name of God)
-Perhaps you fast just as those in Isaiah 58:1-4 fasted (for strife and debate).

Jesus says, “Ye shall know them by their fruits.....Not every man that saith unto me Lord, Lord, shall
enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in Heaven." (see
Matthew 7:16,21)

Friend, I do not know what that thing is that is hindering your manifestation or results.  But the very
thing that will manifest and release your marijuana-addicted son’s deliverance may only come forth
through prayer and fasting (see Mark 9:29 and Matthew 17:21).

You maybe a mother in your mid-thirties who have had your children taken from you due to your
previous lifestyle, and you’re trying to find a way to get them back.  You maybe a newlywed young
man, who found out your wife has a form of leukemia, and you just don’t understand how something
could happen to someone like her… Again, whatever the situation my friend, look at what you’re doing
or not doing.  For we need to understand what God wills (see Romans 12:1-2) and what He takes
pleasure in. One thing God wills is that no man perishes, but that all come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
Beloved, the Lord wishes above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul
prospers (3 John 2). God surely takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant (Psalm 35:27).  Most
importantly, my friend, God takes pleasure in them that fear Him, in those that hope in His mercy
(Psalm 147:11).  Whatever your situation, I pray that you do something you've never done for the
Lord, His Kingdom, and your spiritual growth! Try turning off your phones and TV’s…or least limit
your calls and who you talk to for a day.  Use that time to study the word of God.  Where you may
have prayed three times a day, try praying all throughout the day: when you’re doing the dishes, when
you’re driving; when you’re taking a shower, etc.  When you’ve sown spiritually and monetarily into
the lives of others and the things of God, don’t get weary, but do more!  Great are the sacrifices… and
God surely rewards faithfulness and diligence.  Just don’t get weary in well-doing (Galatians 6:19)…But
just do all that you do to the glory of God (1 Cor.10:31).

You must know this, God rewards diligence.  He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him (Heb.
11:6). You do realize that when we come to God, we
MUST come to Him believing.  For without faith,
we cannot please Him (Hebrews 11:6).  The word of God also tells us, that whatsoever is not of faith is
sin (Romans 14:23).

So right about now, you can very well ask yourself, “What am I doing that I should not
be doing?
What am I
not doing?  What do I need to do to go the extra mile? How do I get my results?  For your
Bible illustrates that certain things can only
come forthby prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29).  Matthew
17:21 points out certain things
goeth not outbut by prayer and fasting. Note, some things come and
some things go!  There are things and people you want to come within your limits.  Then, perhaps,
there are those things and people you truly want to go and to never return.

Friend, just lend yourself to a little more sacrifice, diligence, and working of your faith.  You can’t go
wrong by applying these biblical principles to your spiritual walk.  In fact, go on to read and study
Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28.  In these very similar chapters, God’s word unveils the secrets and
rewards to those who will hearken and obey His word.  These chapters will also reveal the rewards for
those who disobeys Him.  Get into God’s word.  Know what He says about you.  Know what He’s
been trying to tell you.  Learn how you can get back what’s rightfully yours.  Live for Him and totally
rely on Him….and your labours, He will not forget! (see Hebrews 6:10)  The Greater the sacrifices, the
Greater the release of the Power of God and your

Key Text:  The heart is deceitful above all things, and
desperately wicked:  who can know it?  I the LORD search the
heart, I try the reins, even to give every according to his ways,
and according to the fruit of his doings. (Jeremiah 17:5-10)
Food For Thought:
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:  Fear God, and keep his commandments:  for this is the
whole duty of  man.  For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be
good, or whether it be evil.” (Ecc.12:13-14)
